When Sega announced the western release of Yakuza Kiwami 2, the audience in attendance at the event went bonkers with joy.
Yesterday evening’s announcement of the localization of Yakuza Kiwami 2 certainly made a lot of gamers happy. Yet, one thing is for sure, the fans that were present at the Gallery Nucleus in Alhambra, California, ere especially happy. Their reaction is one for the history books.
While the crowd was quiet when the trailer began, they went completely bonkers as soon as the faces of Kazuma Kiryu and Ryuji Goda appeared on the screen, revealing that the much-anticipated remake of Yakuza 2 was indeed coming west.
If you don’t believe me, you can check out the recording below. Just make sure to turn the volume down, because the crowd got so loud that it passed the limits of the microphones.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 will release in the west on August 28th for PS4.
